Multi-Band Sector Antennas

Passive panel antennas supporting 2G, 3G, 4G LTE and 5G NR simultaneously on a single mount. Reduce tower loading, eliminate cable runs between bands, and enable Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) via AISG 2.0 — all managed through your MOBITELSMS mobile core.

One Antenna, Every Generation

Multi-band sector antennas replace multiple single-band panels with a single integrated unit, dramatically reducing tower loading, wind exposure, and visual impact. Dual-polarized (±45°) elements on each band deliver full 2×2 MIMO for every RAT simultaneously — 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G NR — on a single cable bundle.

Multi-Band Integration
Three independent band groups (low, mid, high) combined in one radome. 6-port or 8-port configurations covering 700 MHz through 2700 MHz in a single panel mount, replacing up to three separate antennas.
Remote Electrical Tilt (RET)
AISG 2.0 protocol support with per-band SRET (Separate RET) capability. Adjust downtilt from 0° to 15° per band remotely from the BSC/OMC without sending crews to the tower — critical for network optimization and traffic steering.
High Gain & Isolation
16–19 dBi gain per band. Cross-polarization isolation exceeding 28 dB and front-to-back ratio above 30 dB minimize inter-band and inter-sector interference, delivering clean signal quality in dense urban networks.
Multi-Operator RAN Sharing
Multi-port designs support RAN sharing between operators at the antenna level. Two operators share a single antenna installation with independent ports per band per operator, reducing site costs and tower loading for both parties.
High Power Handling
Up to 1,000 W aggregate on low-band ports (700–960 MHz) and 300 W per port on mid/high-band. IP65-rated radome with UV-stable materials rated for –40°C to +65°C operating range for all climate zones.
Precision Beam Control
64–69° horizontal beamwidth for consistent sector coverage in standard 3-sector and 6-sector deployments. Narrow vertical beamwidth (6–8°) concentrates energy toward subscribers and suppresses sky radiation for maximum spectral efficiency.

Managed by MOBITELSMS Mobile Core

Passive antennas are the RF front-end of your radio access network. MOBITELSMS's mobile core manages the full chain — from antenna tilt policy through eNodeB configuration and subscriber authentication.

RRU/RRH Connection
Passive antennas connect to Remote Radio Units via short jumper cables (N-type or 7-16 DIN). The RRU mounts at antenna height on the tower, connecting via CPRI fiber to the BBU in the ground cabinet — eliminating the 50+ dB coaxial loss of long tower runs.
AISG 2.0 RET Control
RET motors are controlled via the AISG 2.0 serial protocol carried on a dedicated pin in the antenna feeder connector. MOBITELSMS's eNodeB management layer can automate tilt optimization using live UE signal reports (A3/A5 measurement events).
S1 Interface to EPC
The BBU/eNodeB that feeds these antennas connects via S1-AP (SCTP) to MOBITELSMS's Open5GS MME and via S1-U (GTP-U) to the SGW. MOBITELSMS's HSS handles UE authentication over Diameter S6a toward the MME — completing the full 4G attach procedure.
RAN Sharing
Multi-port antenna designs enable MOCN (Multi-Operator Core Network) or MORAN (Multi-Operator RAN) sharing. MOBITELSMS supports multi-PLMN broadcast in the eNodeB, allowing multiple MVNOs to share the same physical radio infrastructure while maintaining independent core connections.
