Indoor Coverage Solutions

Building penetration losses of 15-25 dB at sub-6 GHz (and 30+ dB at mmWave) make reliable indoor coverage from outdoor macros impractical. Indoor small cells place the radio exactly where users are, delivering consistent -80 dBm RSRP throughout the coverage area.

Plug-and-Play Deployment

Units self-configure on first power-up: auto-discover backhaul, authenticate with core network, select optimal frequency and PCI, and begin serving UEs. No RF engineering required — just connect Ethernet and mount on ceiling or wall.

Enterprise Private Network

CBRS PAL/GAA and dedicated licensed spectrum enable private LTE/5G networks for enterprise IoT, warehouse automation, and campus connectivity. Full core network isolation ensures enterprise traffic never touches the public network.

Closed Subscriber Group

CSG (Closed Subscriber Group) restricts cell access to authorized SIMs only. Enterprise IT admins manage the whitelist via web portal. Hybrid mode allows CSG members priority access while permitting public macro offload during low-traffic periods.

Core Network Integration

MOBITELSMS's mobile core handles indoor small cell authentication, mobility management, and QoS enforcement through standard 3GPP interfaces.

S1 over Enterprise LAN

Indoor small cells use standard S1-AP and S1-U over existing enterprise Ethernet infrastructure. IPSec tunnels secure the connection between the small cell and MOBITELSMS's EPC, even across public internet backhaul links.

CSG Management

MOBITELSMS's HSS maintains CSG subscription lists per enterprise. The HeNB Gateway aggregates S1 connections from multiple small cells, reducing the signaling load on the MME while maintaining per-UE CSG authorization.

Macro-Indoor Handover
